PEAK PPF Technology
PEAK PPF products are 100% aliphatic TPU. Beyond their flexible, durable structure, they are more resistant to yellowing and protect your paint from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Thanks to a high-quality pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, they are easy to install and do not damage the paint when removed.
PEAK PPF comes off the roll as five layers. The two protective liners are removed during installation, leaving three layers on your paint: top layer, TPU film and acrylic adhesive.

Get in TouchPPF (Paint Protection Film) is a high-tech polyurethane layer designed to protect a car’s exterior from physical impacts and various other external factors. It is not just a “wrap”: it is transparent armour that protects your car’s paint from stone chips, acidic bird droppings, tree sap, fine scratches and UV rays.
On the contrary, PPF exists to protect paint. There are, however, two critical factors: material quality and installation. A quality (TPU-based) film installed by a professional shop does not leave marks or damage the paint when it is removed. Only poor-quality, “PVC”-based knock-off products and old-technology TPH products can dry out, harden over time and stick to the paint.
They serve different purposes.
Ceramic Coating: A chemical protection; it adds gloss, repels water and makes cleaning easier. However, it does not protect against stone chips, bird droppings or fine scratches. Its effect and lifespan are limited.
PPF: A physical protection. By blocking UV rays, it stops the paint from dulling over time; it cushions stone chips, protects against light impacts, repairs scratches on its own and so keeps your car’s paint as it was on day one for many years.
Older-generation PVC or TPH films oxidise under UV rays and yellow quickly. However, new-generation films based on 100% TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), such as PEAK PPF, are resistant to yellowing. Products from quality brands keep their transparency and clarity for years, even after long exposure to sunlight.
The top layer of quality PPF contains a thermoplastic polymer, which lets the film form a strong barrier against light and moderate scratches. Thanks to the self-healing technology found in premium products, surface scratches disappear over time with heat.
Depending on the quality of the product used and how it is cared for, PPF performs for many years. PEAK PPF products offer up to 5 years of durability.
In Turkey, clear and matte clear PPF does not change the car’s colour, so it does not need to be recorded on the vehicle registration and passes vehicle inspection without issues. If you have a coloured paint protection film or a vinyl wrap applied, you must record it on the registration as a “colour change”.
The main reasons you see very cheap PPF prices on the market are the difference in material and the quality of workmanship.
